First Responder Recognition Dinner

We had a wonderful evening hosting Miss Colorado Job’s Daughter, Julia H., and Band Camp Scholarship recipient, Sam H. We were also honored to recognize the First Responders of the Year, chosen by their respective leaders in Gilpin County: Paramedic Christian Gay from Gilpin Ambulance Authority, Lt. Kevin Schneider from Timberline Fire Protection District, and Sgt. Stephen Mathews from Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office.

Nevada 4 & Weston 22 Joint Table Lodge

Please join us for en evening of fellowship at the Ghost Town Lodge. Your RSVP will ensure that you have a seat and something to eat!

The topic of the toasts will be Masons of the Old West. The dress code is jacket and tie. Wine and non-alcoholic options will be served for the toasts. The menu is scheduled to be chicken and andouille gumbo with rice. Reach out well in advance if you have dietary requirements and we will do what we can to accommodate.

Masons of any degree are welcome. The event and dinner are presented at no cost (donations are welcome). There will be Cannons for sale for those who want a nice souvenir.

As much as we hope no one drinks to intemperance, you are invited to bring a sleeping bag or find a room nearby in Central City/Black Hawk.

Fraternally,
WM Randy Lutton & WM Josh Levin

Joint Table Lodge – Nevada #4 / Weston #22

A Joint Table Lodge scheduled for Saturday, March 16th at Weston Lodge #22 starting at 6:00 PM. This is a joint event with Nevada Lodge #4.

If you have never attended a Table Lodge before, this is worth your attention. As this is on St. Patrick's Day weekend, the topic of the Seven Toasts will be Irish Masons. I highly encourage members of Nevada #4 to attend, and there are currently opportunities for you to give a short speech about an Irish Mason.

A Table Lodge at Weston #22 is always an epic event! Dinner and drinks will be served.

If you can attend this event, please let the Master know!

Ghost Town Raising Date Moved

Change of Plans

Due to a lackluster response for Ghost Town, we have made a change to our plans.

We are moving the Raising of the Constitution Lodge candidate from June 3rd to our Stated meeting day of June 10th. We will open on the 1st Degree at 3:00 PM sharp, step up to the 2nd and then up to the 3rd. We will do the Long Form Raising. After the lectures and charge, we will step down to the 2nd and then the 1st Degree, go to refreshment and have dinner.

We will return to the Lodge at 6:30 PM to confer the 1st Degree, lectures, and charge for our new candidate. We will then conduct our business meeting which will include the review and final vote on approval the proposed amendments to our Lodge Bylaws.

Storeroom Conversion Project

Work is underway at Nevada Lodge #4!

We started our new project to morning of Saturday, January 21st. A little snow on the ground, but not too bad; all of the work is in the store room. We are tearing out the old floor in preparation to build out the storage area into an additional dining area.
